The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
